Roger Songbird – Wartime!

Those riffs they sure do bite but there are teeth marks left behind due to plenty other moving parts on ‘Wartime!’ This is the Strokes but done with extra White Stripes thrust so that we’re almost in a state of punk purity come a chorus that is fuelled by accelerant that most acts can’t draw upon. And you can see why because in the wrong hands there will be a major uptick in tinnitus and migraines. All of the attendant risks are worth it in the case of Nashville’s Roger Songbird. KH
