Red Lotus – The Whole Truth

He does sing with a clean backdrop so we clearly get to hear every word, the enunciation distilled so it could be conversation because ‘The Whole Truth’ has that steady climb into chest beating passion. The chiming chords are particularly impressive but everything does fall into place with a wicked sense of abandonment arriving from nowhere and sending San Fran’s Red Lotus into a league containing some of our fave new bands. Wasn’t expecting it, but ‘The Whole Truth’ is just a lovely piece of music with a wild eye to add the necessary magic. KH
