Marcus Fetch – Red House Blues

I can see the porch scene clearly, Marcus fetching his thoughts organically and ‘Red House Blues’ coming together in a manner that feels like a proper old singsong to the rest of us. In fact when things really catch fire this track feels like the greatest invitation for a coming together of your nearest and dearest because of the warmth and engagement that it exudes. Not only that but there is a mighty fine chorus too and when it hits I felt my heart swell with joy. Now that is something designed to banish the blues every time. Glorious stuff from this Alabama bard. KH
