Well that is fairly well ripping through it, psychedelically so, so there is a little less intensity than that opening might suggest. Still ‘Hum Drum’ sure does offer a blast of summer sunshine with the odd clap of thunder thrown in for good measure. It reminded me of ELO and even Jellyfish because there is a proper route back to the sixties but still having plenty of consistency for today – at least for those who like their pop dressed up in unconventional attire. A lot to take in but the large majority from this Australian act is the stuff of the heart swelling kind. KH
