Decimal Decade – Trace

A band (or rather Chicago-based Nico Tiparescu) who do seem like they are tearing at the leash to let their inner indie rock gods escape. And it doesn’t take them long to make good on it either. Seconds in and ‘Trace’ is bursting down our door with a stomping quality that has us pining for the great outdoors and the summer festivals where mass moshpits can form instantaneously. Decimal Decade do have a grungy effect to go with their melodic side so ‘Trace’ wields several forms of adrenaline granting desire. I’m all in, hero band in waiting here and so that debut EP ‘Soon To Evolve’, out next month, has us expectant. KH
