Barcode Angels – Renaissance

‘Renaissance’ opens with a serious electronic rhapsody of the kind that reminds me of Add N To (X) so as always Brooklyn’s Barcode Angels are in good company. A rollercoaster like this does need to be tempered however and ‘Renaissance’ achieves it wuth a periodic chorus that shows a great time. This is Barcode Angels moving up a gear and it sounds like the kind of boost that any unremarkable day needs, their debut LP ‘Angels Forever’ has much more where that came from. KH
