Tessa Rose Jackson & Noon Garden – The Antidote

It floats for sure, insofar as ‘The Antidote’ feels like it is operating all around and if we extend a hand we are likely to be able to interact with its precious kind of soul folk. Tessa Rose Jackson operates in that weightlessness with a voice that is both as commanding and softly tender as Karen Carpenter and the combination is a rare rush of timeless pop sensations. In short ‘The Antidote’ feels like the perfect soundtrack to the kind of dreams you don’t want to end so I enjoyed these 5 minutes while we temporarily suspended bland daily operations and let this Dutch/British chanteuse magnetically rule the roost. Gorgeous. KH
