What a woozy piece of several drinks later soul this is. ‘Ghost’ implies a romantically charged imagination here and Marlo Smith and Joshua McCleskey of Please Ask For Paul have the soulful narration to make good on it. So what we are talking about here is nighttime scenes with this hovering of sound cloaking us in a feeling that there is love in the air but we can’t yet experience it, ‘Ghost’ makes everything intangible but then how do you explain its impact on a chorus that is so clearly designed for swooning to.
