Kodaclips – Viola

New Wave moods aplenty and it means we’re immediately escorted back to the 80’s with some goth like shadow play going on here. That being said Kodaclips are nothing if nothing innovative sorts so ‘Viola’ breaches the prog rock dams too, and to a degree that it reminded me of Denmark’s Mew and their ‘And The Glass Handed Kites’ classic LP. It all adds up to an impressive fury that reaches into the crevices of our psyche and finds the pockets of exhilaration that still exist within our withered frame. In other words, it shimmy past intriguing and into the realms of intoxicating. Bodes well for the Italian band’s upcoming LP ‘Gone Is The Day’. KH
