Jonsjooel – Goodbye Ah

The piano has an end of night and everyone feeling tipsy and the good times flowing feel about it. Off-kilter you could call it but that experimental tone is to be welcomed especially when the purest of vocals emerges atop and takes our breath away. It reminded me of Thom Yorke but also Talk Talk because of its electronic and emotional constituency. You see ‘Goodbye Ah’ gets under the skin, tells us that it is good to let the demons out and the fact that Finland’s Jonsjooel can do it through the medium of song makes this composition a special experience indeed.
