What is particularly neat about ‘Summer’ is how it is forever up for giving us reasons to be jolly for there is a soundtrack here that never stands still. All good but wouldn’t be as effective as it is without offering up a song in tow and in that regard Dana Roth and Daniel Blonde tick all the boxes. From the fast and furious to the slowed down and intensely progressive and psychedelic this is a tune that takes risks and with each one of them working out we were happy-clappy with every single change of tact.
