I was hearing the Beach Boys but I could see how others could hear something ever more romantic and straight ahead swoon pop. Big Search (Matt Popieluch, joined by Victoria Bergsman of Taken by Trees) don’t hold back on the big orchestral sweeps but it in the vocal harmonies that this track really makes a big impression. A crooner, a folkster and the sensation of the balmy air on your face set to music was always going to be something hard to turn down. And I’m of a mood to just waltz in time with its company because we are being drawn back into a form of music that celebrates the good things. And all done in a fashion that is full of wonderment.
