Vandalisbin – Bottle of Wisdom

Of course there is more than a sliver of grunge about ‘Bottle of Wisdom’, perhaps a bit more innocence in those vocals (this is a 21-year-old at the controls after all) but with an undertow of guitars that give us every indication that the noise is never far away. What is my favourite bit about Vandalisbin’s song however is how the changes of intonation are so inventive so the words are given an endlessly catchy home and we’re feeling like this could be the summer swoon we’ve been hoping. That things turn a louder shade of rebellion just adds the honey on top and gives us an absolute peach of a modern day anthem. KH
