Sylvia – Recompose

The Melbourne based Sylvia give off a too hot to handle riff exchange that open proceedings in a manner that gets Recompose noticed, but that is not even the best bit because the band have a singer who adds sweetness atop all the gunslinging in the playing. Of course we were always going to be attracted to fire and brimstone with 90’s alt rock written all over it (the Drop Nineteens spring to mind). It blazes a trail, noise and agitated but which has that most important feature intact, that being that the song is key. Looks like it lava for dessert this evening. KH
