Cereus Bright – Only You

You know Tyler Anthony as Cereus Bright could have us back several decades and dancing with bellbottoms on and not feeling any shame whatsoever because that is the effect of good music on the soul and the temperament. And ‘Only You’ sure does add balance to ropey days because it has a timeless melodic set that is so immersive it feels that a lift in mood is inevitable. The raw percussion contrasts with the sepia-tinged harmonies and as a result this feels all the world like a track that has been romancing us for the longest time. And I’m predicting it will do so for aeons more to come too such is its soulful quality. KH
