There is quietness, there is beauty and there is a resignation to ‘Red and Blue’ that is rare so we believe every syllable that comes out of the Brookyn act Camille Schmidt. There are lessons in there too, delivered in tones that is sympathetic but with an undeniable lift towards a mood of near celebration. Reminds me a lot of Allo Darlin’ who were headed up by Elizabeth Morris. Short and ever so sweet and taken from Camille’s debut EP ‘Good Person’. KH
