A Days Wait – So Far Along

Reminded me of Chicago but of course presented in a prism of A Days Wait’s own approach. There is no denying their dreamy qualities, the sepia-tinged effects that culminate in a vocal performance that feels like it has been crafted for our betterment. Ambient as can be there is still an undoubted fire to the feelings and it means ‘So Far Along’ is both tender but never wallflower. A boon for all the old romantics out there, dreampop for the ages.
