Such an pastoral experience, both aurally and visually and so in sync with traditional folk regard. Artistically it has a Scandinavian/Icelandic quality but I can see how rural Tipperary could be equally as inspiring and when ‘Suas’ ups the ante it feels like we’ve been given the key to another world. One where the spectres of past lives, both good and bad mingle to effect a swirl of disorientation that is most appealing. Sour Blood (Kevin Gleeson) sure offer something different, something imaginative and for me something of an escape route into something better. KH
