The very minimum that you can expect from LA’s rincs is charm and attitude and ‘Dingbat’ shows us both in prime supply. Off it scuttles in a post-punk manner while all the while a singer controls the flow with a flitting this way and that momentum. It gives me hope for the future in fact because it is something new, not playing by the rules but gives us a few minutes that is tuneage and experimental in one. In short you get a whole lot to chew off and for me at least I just wanted to keep chomping. A revelation. KH
