Lines Of Silence – The Long Way Home (Amaury Cambuzat’s La Route Des Choux Edit)

Signs of the motorik, electronically generated so i wasn’t one bit surprised to see Stereolab listed as an influence. I mean this is the very epitome of transient random noise bursts and all that jazz. Of course it doesn’t matter a jot how Lines of Silence sound like unless the goods they carry are up to scratch and in that department ‘The Long Way Home’ is a fascinating journey full of twists, turns and upheaval for those of a less than linear musical state of mind. Escapism is catered for and for once a dull week has met its comeuppance. So much so that I just didn’t want this trip from David Little and Dave Clarkson to end. KH
