Fir Cone Children – You Are My Animal

Crikey, talk about a blast of noise of the punk variety but where Germany’s Fir Cone Children really thrive is in their command of song so when all hell appears to be breaking out there is still ample gilded melody to discover. So fire in the belly, tinnitus on the way but an altogether charged atmosphere doesn’t have to come with the loss of a hummable work and in that regard ‘You Are My Animal’ truly comes out on top. KH
