Trip Sitting – Try To Carry On

I had this track on in the background at first, not quite out of ear range but requiring some effort to pick out its subtleties all the same. And little by little it drew me in, the craft led by Duda von Silva’s presence, the kind of personality that is likely to get many other singing to his tune. So by any terms ‘Try To Carry On’ is a success but that it comes from an act on their debut single makes it all the more cherishable. I’ve been edging towards alt pop a little more of late and it is because of acts like Trip Sitter who mix soul and integrity in a vibrant package that never feels overdone, instead we get the purest form of talent in a catchy and immediate bundle.
