The Satellite Station – Reveries

The scent of folk is strong on this one, a voice from Travis Rue that will break hearts such is its earnest but true quality and all around a growing stature in the arrangement means that ‘Reveries’ becomes something of a celebration from out of nowhere. Of course you get that sixties feeling, the Kinks for me, but there is nothing here that feels like the Satellite Station belong anywhere else but 2024. A good time and buoyant listen to a point that these minutes are almost medicinal. KH
