What an interesting kind of opening sequence, wonder being the thing I felt for the most part. That and a big reminder of the much missed Frightened Rabbit who could also say so much by saying so little, creating beauty in the melancholy of everyday life. Lewis McLaughlin is also Scottish and brings a little bit of Sigur Ros to proceedings, so I was picturing a slo-mo promo featuring moments that gave us every reason to reset and make like our younger, more hopeful selves. The power of music, the power of humanity all in 3 minutes of lovely music. Lewis’ debut LP ‘Feel The Ground You Walk Upon’ is out now, you know where to go for salvation. KH
