Disso!ver – Hey, Artefakt

The words don’t matter, at least for me because I don’t understand them but that is rather unimportant when it comes to the enjoyment that ‘Hey, Artefakt’ bring to the table. Namely some lovely jangle, evocative synth swirls and a singer (Roman Biewer) at the helm who tops off the lovely aura with a calm and empathetic presence. Germany’s Disso!ver never rush things but there is plenty going on to keep us occupied to the point of gooey-eyed and I particularly like the industrial noise here and there so things never felt overly nice. Couldn’t help falling for every second of it, the Notwist for a new generation. KH
