For those who get excited by such things that is one big bass line to open ‘Snare’ and it is so direct it focused the mind the way that instrumental part of Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain always does. But ‘Snare’ has more bite, this is grunge or at least least something 90’s wild abandonment to recall My Bloody Valentine among others. Talk of escapism, talk of being able to break out into your own personal moshpit and to hell with the broken front room furniture because it is worth it to live like we are liberated, young and free all over again. And all from the hand of a solo bedroom act from Rochester, NY. Wow. KH
