The Fourth Wall – No Daggers

I am a big fan of closing tracks because that is often where you get the band’s epic squall that they reserve for the encore and the curtain closer and by the sounds of ‘No Daggers’ (from the ‘Return Forever’ LP) the Fourth Wall might just have that in mind here. There is a clatter of instruments and words are thrown around with abandonment to a degree that the less steady are likely to be lost in the inevitable moshpit that ensues. Certainly sounds like the best I’ve heard from Portland’s the Fourth Wall and I’m all for acts that go for it and to hell with the consequences. KH
