Takeover – Wait – mp3hugger

There are indications that NYC’s Takeover have zest, in fact come the end the energy of ‘Wait’ was such that it had positively affected our day. There is a whole lot to like, the driving propulsion, the jangle and a singer who has a magnetic presence wherein they don’t give much away but still make us feel part of the crew. A hint of vulnerability with the superficial brave face means that Takeover have afforded us an urgent piece of indie rock substance. KH
