Salt Cathedral – Off The Walls

There is a cute quality to ‘Off The Walls’, obvious from the start in the way it bounces along in its own unique way. An indie pop quality and the ever present characteristic of being oneself no matter how much the marketing department ask them to jump on the sound of now. I guess they can understand that they are capable of more than mere facsimile and so Colombia’s Salt Cathedral put us through the soft ringer in a tune that stops, starts, lolloping but mostly skips merrily along like it has an internal swell of happiness that they want to share with all and sundry. Fallen under their spell alright. KH
