Michael B Thomas – Test Tube Baby

Such a stereophonic sound, starts in the left ear before filling the right one and the joy didn’t end there for we are talking about a singer who successfully channels Elliott Smith while bringing plenty of his happy self to proceedings. The kind of love song we can really get behind because of the romance on show (clear in the subtle vocal entertwining). ‘Test Tube Baby’ has so obviously been put together with great care, the bonus of course is that Michael B Thomas is such a fine songwriter to go with it. I hate using the word perfection but if I ever got comfortable with expressing it this track would certainly be in the conversation. KH
