Timmy Milner – 2009

There is a classic indie quality to 2009, the kind that you could picture Frank Black taking and turning a brighter shade of noisy. That opening in particular is so neat and proper we were always due a crash, bang and wallop and ultimately into chaos and I for one am so thankful that Timmy Milner decided that was the opportune route. So that is quiet/loud dynamic sorted and in a manner that is illuminating for those who just want the old alternative days back when firebrands were ten a penny. This is a neat step in that direction. KH
