Left Iris – Synthia

Those synths fire like something out of a future fantasy movie and ‘Synthia’ opens up on the back of that bright opening with something that appears to be capable of filling several galaxies with electronic movements. It is clear that Dublin three-piece Left Iris are no mere mortals as a result and with a levitating singer in the cockpit it really feels like we are going places here. ‘Synthia’ is pop but not as we know it, toe tapping evidence is clear though mostly it is the ambition that fuels our desire. Big and bold this is music in technicolour widescreen. An absolute blast whose presence will extend to the outer reaches. KH
