Famous Friend – Nora

Very clean alternative 80’s vibe to ‘Nora’, the beats, the jangle and the synths taking us back to that decade and making merry with our nostalgic bones. Where Zachariah Carlson as Famous Friend shows himself to be above the usual is in a chorus that is full of swoonsome turns. I was reminded for the most part of the Pale Saints, a fey boy vocal masking a heart so fuelled by romantic expectation it could likely be Feb 14th 365 days a year. A sweet tangle of alternative pulses to get the heart pumping. KH
