Atomic Tom – Let Me Show You How It’s Done

Quite the noise, industrial in fact until the chords show us the way and it is the way of the punk brigade for Atomic Tom have the attitude and the energy to upturn plenty applecarts. And boy do we need more of this kind of incandescent behaviour in a superficially polite world. This track on the other hand is jerky and confrontational from the start, but best of all it a rampaging piece of fluid songwriting so we get an ear for melody to go with all the stampeding and stomping. I hear something that will stick around for aeons and a singer that really reminded me of young firebrand from Dublin called Bono. KH
