Adam Bruce – Hello From The Future

Oh there is definitely a ray of sunshine or maybe more than that in the stride that is ‘Hello From The Future’. Of course the ironic thing is that it sounds like Arizona’s Adam Bruce has liberally mined from the past such is the classic pop bumpkin qualities of these 4 minutes. Ultimately though who cares because there is so much melody and sucrose moments to be devoured, ear candy without even the second thought of that icky feeling. And that is down to the manner is which the piece is twisted ever so subtly, nothing seems obvious even though it has a familiar and comforting ring. Pretty much perfect break time soundtrack then, I am head over heels. KH
