The Hatchets – When the Ghost Throws Off His Chains

There is quite the incendiary blast to what the Hatchets wield here, evident from the very first moment and continued in that vein by a frontman who certainly houses a brand of crazy. There are moments of quiet introspection but for the most part this track from these Milwaukee noisemakers screams along, always tunesome but content to be the loudest piece of entertainment for miles around. What is clear to me is that this act have the likeability factor down so no matter how much we shudder internally we still feel we are among gregarious friends who are looking out for us. KH
