Thanks Light… – I Am Fire

‘I Am Fire’ is such a quaint place to pick up where this Austin act are at and what an unexpected piece of happiness it is. Not that you’d be able to discern immediately because matters start so quietly but that burst into a change of tempo is heartfelt and traditional and the right kind of comfy fit for a brand new year. It feels like renewal or old school Arcade Fire, the best kind and without any of the excess. Much more where that came from on the band’s new LP ‘Wildcatting’. KH
