Still Corners – The Dream

‘The Dream’ gets us all down and tropical, shining up those shimmering chords to a degree that it feels like Still Corners are floating – something that is even more evident when the chanteuse (Tessa Murray) at the core of the piece elevates matters up a notch or two more. Reminded me of Men I Trust, but there is an up and down to the ante that is very much of this act’s own making. The five minutes fly by and I put that down to our own suspension of belief as to our current habitat and into one which ‘The Dream’ has been conjured with such tender and precise detail. KH
