Pans – Dusty Hands

What a softly intense work this is, words sounding like they’ve been dispatched from a decommissioned loud speaker but that could be down to the journey from broken heart to us that adds that sense of destiny. ‘Dusty Hands’ is ever so forlorn, capable of sweeping Romeo like gestures and with Valentine’s on the way you’d wonder whether Miami’s Pans have a slow burning romantic anthem on their hands. It is quite something the way the whole enterprise whips itself into a frenzy come the end and with it our affections freshly rosy cheeked and ready for a big old fashioned swoon. KH
