Ogrom Circus – Tick Away

‘Tick Away’ comes to us fully conceived and for me something that feels like Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones were pulling the strings. But where Ogrom Circus truly break free and into their own version of nostalgia and blues and psychedelia is in that instrumental break that feels all encompassing. For the rest of the time we’re treated to a set of players from Berlin led by Hannes Fröhlich who have a view of the horizon and they are determined to make good on the inspiration it gives them. The ultimate grower, ‘Tick Away’ makes us feel better about ourselves by its sheer company. KH
