Midnight Stroll – You Can Escape

There is an anthemic streak (and clapping) to ‘You Can Escape’ and though it is not completely obvious it bursts free on a chorus with heightened instrumental passages. Midnight Stroll boast a singer (Aaron Behrens) who keeps his cool, but whom is also comfortable in a stew of noise and feedback (Jonas Wilson). The Midnight Stroll have gone above and beyond here and I like the way they’ve portrayed a manner of rocking out that won’t have tinnitus flaring up to any degree. Old school indie rock potency, with an inkling towards psychedelic led Mercury Rev. KH
