Cor De Lux – Syncopated

Oh so giddy with excitement, chords flashing rapturously before our ears so we’re left with no choice but to get with the frantic action scenes. I could hear DIIV, the xx, Sonic Youth but also frantic early Cure so ‘Syncopated’ sure does have its influences lined up and they are stellar ones at that. No need for too much word play with all that rabid guitar playing going on but when they come they add balance to a piece that is all action and exuberant but dished out with plenty character too. Our sort of sort, this Cor De Lux fit like a glove. KH
