Almost Twins – Mosaics

Seconds in and ‘Mosaics’ was feeling like it was for me, that soft David Kitt/Jose Gonzalez melodic vocal flow done in a manner that was quiet but always on move so that some will even find reason to sway to its regulation. There is more than a hint of jazz from the Leipzig quintet, which again tends to my maturing listening habits. But what is most supremely the reason for my inclinations towards Almost Twins is their absolute devotion to doing things as they see fit themselves, without reference elsewhere which gives this piece such a free flowing ambience to be entirely liberating.
