Addy Baddy – Take Ur Picture

I do tend to find most comfort in songs that have their basis in the alt 90’s sound so ‘Take Ur Picture’ was instantly in my good books because it was that era that most rang true in that loud cascading collection of dreamy vocals (Adam Moore) and knockabout playing. Serious percussive elements but otherwise there is a comfy quality to the way things fall into place and while I increasingly heard glam-rock creeping into the mix there is just a big time anthemic stream to what Addy Baddy have visited upon us here. I felt like the breath had been taken from me by the end and while that might be serious for some I regard as it a fine turn of events. KH
