Now that is a lovely way to dispatch your guitars and all done in a manner that reminded me of Band of Horses, you know that country rock manner that is prone to summoning a swell of heartfelt feelings from deep inside that we didn’t know existed. I guess we should have known given the title that the Stevenson Ranch Davidians (Dwayne Seagraves and friends) were here to put a warm hue on the day we’ve all been having and it is produced via warm melodic advances and a jangle entourage that is not just for Christmas. ‘Better Day’ is as good as its word.
