Pete Campbell – Silence

A quaint piece of folk reflection that’s for sure so we get the acoustics, we get the singer with that classic sixties vinylised vocal and everything feels pristine as a result. In fact such is my proximity to viewing ‘The Holdovers’ I could easily see Pete’s song on the soundtrack. That’s because it feels like it is cut from an authority of classic bard territory as to be perfectly authentic. ‘Silence’ is something to wile away the day and in a most pleasant manner given the authentic folk company from he and she (Ellen Soffe). Oh so lovely. KH
