Cloudbelly – November

I got a sense of rush, the way the mechanics of this track are orchestrated to have us aboard a steam train flying down the tracks and us having a view of the country and there is plenty of that evoked on ‘November’. Cloudbelly make it so that we are part of the action, the vibrancy clear via both in the playing and from Corey Laitman who reminds of Aimee Mann with a crystal delivery. I felt an uplift, a rare event and that is something to properly cherish. Soothing artistic directions. KH
