Casino Breakfast – Shitty Motel

Sure does slip into a tropical mindset ever so easily and to a degree that we feel like we should be doing likewise. The encouragement comes from a couple of sources, the swaying guitars initially and then a most gentle vocal sway that feels at once liberated but also weighed down by circumstance. We are never pushed into taking up a position because despite the rising intensity it all feels like the best place is to watch the ensuing drama from a close distance. Quite the artful few minutes and at this time of the year it feels like the perfect comedown. KH
