A.L. Lacey – Memo

‘Memo’ is such an emotional work, the kind that just sweeps all other distractions to one side because there is so much undertow to contend with. In other words it feels like we have a world of entertainment at our eartips as Bristol’s A.L. Lacey continually ups the ante over what might be a brief but beguiling work. It isn’t dreamy because there appears to be a wolf at our door but in that safety vacuum springs a purity that sets ‘Memo’ apart. Friend or foe, who knows but what an experience this is trying to work it all out. KH
