Midheaven – Heaven

Felt a bit of psychedelia going on here, felt a good deal more too it must be said. Industrial, dreampop and shoegaze being the prime movements in a track that just begs to be compared to the likes of 90’s firebrands Curve. That is down to the big theatre of the arrangement, Sarah Eiseman’s voice sitting atop unperturbed by all the noise from Andy DeLuca and that contrast is what so gives ‘Heaven’ its distinctive formula. In other words Midheaven have given us license on this their debut single to block out all the other noise because their brand is the most important aural emission you’ll hear all day. KH
